The Common Management Admission Test is conducted twice a year at national-level by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for admission to Management courses in 26 states in India. First launched in 2012, CMAT aimed to reduce the multiple individual institute entrance tests and centralize the admission process in management courses. Although a recent High Court ruling has made the CMAT no longer mandatory, an impressive 4,500+ Institutes admit students on basis of CMAT scores.
