About Rajasthan Education Board, Ajmer
Rajasthan Education Board was established to promote and manage secondary education in the state. It was established in 4th December, 1957 in Jaipur. Due to various reasons, it was shifted to Ajmer in 1961. Currently, board is working from Ajmer since 1961.
Rajasthan Board is responsible for following exams in the state.
1. Secondary School Certificate Exam which is known as SSC or 10th class
2. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) which is also known as HSC or 12th class or 10+2. It includes all streams such as Commerce/Science and Arts.
3. Praveshika Pariksha equivalent to +10 (Sanskrit Shiksha)
4. Varishtha Upadhayay Parisksha (10+2) (Sanskrit Shiksha)
5. Science talent search examination (state level) regular
6. National Talent Search Examination
